On June 3, 2026, Peter Tabuns (NDP), Mary-Margaret McMahon (Liberal), and Mike Schreiner (Green) participated together in a press conference with Environmental Defence and Open the 407 Now. They were calling on the government to disclose the cost of building highway 413. You might want to also add the Liberal leader (John Fraser, jfraser.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org) and the NDP Leader (Marit Styles mstiles-co@ndp.on.ca)
You can email the MPPs separately or together. You can have an even bigger impact if you use snail mail, telephone, or chat in person. The message can be very short and simple, something like the following;
“Thank you for working together, which is much more effective than each party going it alone. It shows that you value the province more than your party. We would love to see more of this. We would also love to see the NDP, Liberal, and Green parties start working together now to bring in a new proportional voting system. “
If you have a Liberal, Green, or NDP MPP who is not one of these three you might want to write them a slightly different letter. It should say right at the start that you are a constituent, include your address, and that you hope that they will look for ways to cooperate across party lines like these three did.
