Canadians urgently need a unified, progressive choice in the next federal election. To make this happen, the progressive parties must adopt a cooperative approach — rather than competing with each other. 

We aim to bring groups and individuals together to promote electoral cooperation among the progressive political parties committed to tackling the many challenges facing Canadians, including the destructive climate crisis, growing economic disparity, and tragic lack of affordable housing. These are issues that will not be dealt with – or made worse – under a CPC majority Government.

Partisan interests must be put aside as we face the real threat of these multiple crises if we want our government to address them effectively. Too often Conservatives have won seats in districts where the progressive vote is split among Liberals, NDP, Greens, and the Bloc. Polls show that the Conservative Party of Canada, under the leadership of Pierre Poilievre is poised to win.

We are a coalition of groups and individuals who know that the next federal election will be one of the most important in this country’s history.

With our present electoral system, too often the CPC wins seats – despite a progressive majority. We must act accordingly, and cooperate to prevent this.
